My College Life, A Day in

Asking for trouble

Is completely ignoring your lecturer when he bids you 'good morning Stephanie' - in a completely sarcastic voice - by rolling over and going back to sleep.

Burning my pockets

Is spending yet another 2 hours at Ftz screaming with Viv at silly/tragic/glee-inducing events onscreen.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMYGOOOOOOOOOOODDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Intentional aggravation

Is ks-ing Julian over and over again just so he has absolutely 0 kills at the end of the game. =3 Then when he walks over to your pc to grumble, you point your finger and him and go "HAHAHAHA I KSED YOUUUU! WHEEE!" until he has no choice but to laugh too.

Exhiliration

Is being the last terrorist alive on your team and having people actually bet on YOU, the NOOB, to finish off the opponents before they do you.

Smugness

Is when you actually DO kill both of them, and with only a basic gun.

Heartsickness

Is watching your classmates torture and kill an innocent bug before your eyes, but knowing you have no say in it as you are guilty of squishing ants constantly at home - with glee.

Connected

Is what you feel when hearing your Form 4 friend go 'Stephhh I failed Accounts! T_T'
Then you reply 'OMG ME TOO HI 5555555!' and he goes 'whoa alriiiiiiight!' =]

Nostalgic

Is what you feel when hearing your other Form 4 friend complain that his teacher gave him a mere 38/50 for his english essay when his only mistake in the entire paper was writing 'wasn't' instead of 'was not.' Then finding out that he went to get his paper re-marked by another - unbiased - teacher and got a much higher grade. Sound familiar? XD

Teasing

Is what you do when the aforementioned person is precisely the same person who challenged your english skills a couple of weeks ago.

"I am POSITIVE my english pwns yours!"
"I feel the same way about mine too!"
"We'll see after SPM =]"
"We will. Hmph."

Displacement

Is when you take your feelings out on someone (not completely!) innocent who happened to look very appealing to yell at at that very moment. Sorry turtle. Seems to happen often. x_X

Relief

Is calling 2 of your friends to make them calm you down, and finding that you actually DO calm down at the sound of their voice.

Horror

Is discovering that KC is not the only boy who giggles. o_o''

Bo-liaoness

Is staying up with them until 1.30 am to sing Backstreet Boys songs completely off-key and realise that you don't mind at all.

Amusement

Is finding out - after Nicky interpreted his name as 'intelligent' and 'noble' and that mine means 'friendly' and 'educated' - that KC's chinese name sounds exactly like 'donating money.' ...How Kar Chuan became 'juan qian,' I have no idea.

Thankfulness

Is finding that your 5 years of torturous chinese education has saved you from butchering your own name. *wipes sweat*

Freedom

Is what you feel when you finally take a burden - that has been bugging you for months - off your heart. It's time to help my friends who need me instead of the other way round. I'm finally over it. *applauds self*

Incredulous

Is your expression after being told that he yells 'fooooooooook' instead of 'fuck' when his mom is in the immediately vicinity.

"But she knows you're cursing anyway!"
"It's my mom."

Foolish

Is how you feel when your mom storms in 2 minutes later telling you to PLEASE stop swearing so much when you play.

Panic

Is the feeling that invades your senses when you realise that it is already Wednesday and you have an IT assignment that was given a month ago to hand in next Monday. And neither you nor your partner have bothered to start yet.

Calmness

Is hearing violent winds whip through your neighbourhood - a harbinger of a storm.
And you love rain. =)

It's good to be back in college. ^^

Song of the Day:

"I Don't Want to Miss a Thing - Aerosmith"

CAUSE I DON'T WANNA MISS A THAAANGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!
*dissolves in giggles*
